We seek not to live in the past, but rather have the past live within us. This is a project that extends beyond any one group or race. This is a project for humanity. It's about each one of us looking in the mirror to think about, confront, and take responsibility for our own intolerances every day.
We remember the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust because they were different. Their memories are a reminder that we must stand up against all hatred and prejudice every day. In doing so, we honor the memories of those who perished and take action toward a different reality.
While we can never fully comprehend what Holocaust victims endured or the impact of six million lives lost, we can see the potential positive impact of a movement of people working together toward a world free of hatred and intolerance.
We are the voice of our generation and will soon be that of the generations before us. As the last generation who will hear directly from the survivors, we must commit to forever preserving their testimonies and the memories of the six million Jewish men, women and children who lost their lives. The millions of people persecuted during the Holocaust inspire our choices- what inspires yours?
This is our call to action. It's simple to make impact.
Make a moment to take a stand.
Our movement is growing each day with more people as we each commit to stand up against intolerance and communicate that commitment to the world. Every commitment, every statement, every person makes a difference.
Our greatest strength will not be our message, our mission or our actions, but rather the people who advocate them in their daily lives. There's energy and empowerment in knowing that you're an active part of a movement of people in the world committed to the same possibility.
Project6Million is both connecting these people and bringing their voices together toward a world where tolerance trumps hate. Will you stand up?
We're making impact...
One person, one moment, one statement at a time.
